The advantages of private profiles are the fact they would not be widely used by all other botters around hence giving you slight more protection and safety to it.
As for how much gold, it would really depend on several things, here are a few I can think of:
How fast it will do everything the profile tells it to do?
Is the are open or closed? (closed as in dungeon, raid, etc/open as in an area that you would have other players around perhaps doing the same thing)
The combat routine in use
item lvl based on the place you are or what you're killing?

You shouldn't be making three threads about the same topic.
Also, your question is too broad. If you want the simple and generalized answer, then no it's not going to make you a lot more gold unless you really know what you're doing. It depends on the type of profile, which I'm assuming is a gathering profile. The reason these shared profiles are popular creates a double edged sword because they're usually popular because they work well and are optimized to run that way but you're more likely to be "sharing" this route with other botters on your realm. RandomBuddy can create unique profiles which can help in some regard, and optimizes them quite well. There's a few other plugins and such that can do similar things, which take some looking around to see if you're the one for them.
As for the general gold making that's a little more complex unless you just want to sell the materials directly. There are a few forums that get into very complicated market mechanics which are very interesting to read up on, here you're more likely to find people just talk about not overloading the auction house and wait for a spike in demand and all of that.
