I am at school and trying to bot while i am in class, but HB keeps saying logging in and eventually it'll say authentication failed. When I get home and turn on HB and press start it'll run it's cycle checks and start correctly.
You can use your key anywhere at anytime, you can share it with anyone you'd like. The only limitation is you cannot be using the same key at the same time or else it'll boot off whoever is using it. The only reason why you cannot bot at your school is most likely because the school network is blocking the constant connection needed to utilize HonorBuddy's key DRM.
"Sorry, but you need a good reason for us to open the port... basically if it's not related to your school work then we can't open the port for security reasons as we have almost all the ports firewalled".
Once again, the port would be locked down for a specific reason. A trojan uses port 5031 as it's transmission port, and is most likely the reason the port is locked down on your university's network.
I can guarantee your project doesn't trump the need (in a network admin's eyes) to protect their network from a known virus.
It's kind of like calling the front receptionist at your physicians office and telling them you aren't going to pay for your surgery unless you receive your medication before the actual surgery happens. First off, you're bitching up the wrong tree. Second off, your only choice is to drop your surgery or live with what they give you.
I'd love to watch you drop your 50k degree over them not fulfilling your every whim.
