I like to keep my energie plan low while botting on my laptop but my fps will also decrease drastically.
Does this have any consequences for the performance of the bot?

Hi, Sheetka,

The answer is "it depends" (on what you're doing).

Honorbuddy was designed for an FPS rate of 20-30. If you drop below 20, HB will start stumbling around, look bottish, will overshoot objectives, or fall off cliffs. Anything above 30 yields rapidly diminishing returns. You want to stay in the 20-30 range for running most HB bots—questing, BGs, dungeons, etc.

I've heard of people running as low as 8 FPS. Most of these people are doing this are doing very 'light' activities like Archeology, or GB2.

cheers and hope this helps,
