Does DB have support for switching characters?

Is it possible to make a plugin/profile/whatever that logs off and switches your character?

I've always assumed the answer is no since it doesn't even ask you to choose a character to use but I'm just double checking.

With Trinity 3.0 this is available. Not sure if its working yet. Everytime i tried to have it switch characters to spend blood shards, it would crash DB before logging in the new character.

I dont think there is an option to have it switch characters and then play on that character. But it will switch to spend blood shards.

I'm asking if there's API support for it though, which I guess there is if Trinity is adding a feature that utilizes it. Unless he's working with DB's devs directly.

Spending shards on alts is definitely high on my list but it would also be cool if I could make a plugin to do stuff like automatically using mule characters when the stash is full.
This is even more of an issue now that you can re-roll/extract/upgrade items with the cube. There's more of a reason to hoard stuff and your stash fills up fast.
Imagine a fancy stasher plugin that used your Item List settings to put certain flagged items on to alts specifically for extracting when you have enough cube materials, etc.
