Does DB actually work if you minimize it?

I know it works in the background, but I think it's pausing my game when i Minimize the diablo 3 window

Anyone got info on how it works with it being minimized, because it would make my comp run a lot faster If i could minimize the screen.
 
Think it pause if you use full screen. Use windowed mode. Also lower graphics and make the window as small as possible to make it run better, and 60+ background fps preferred.

I have it on 50fps in background and in window mode but im pretty sure its pausing when I minimize, because If i leave it minimized for a few mins and bring it back up im in the same spot
 
Just to add to my other post, I do run this in "Window-Fullscreen" mode. I haven't tested running DB in fullscreen or normal window mode.
 
it should work the same way hb does. so, minimizing hb/db should work,but d3/wow should Not work.
 
Just tried the behavior without using demon buddy.

Windowed mode + minimized = Diablo 3 does NOT pause.
Tried fullscreen+windowed but dunno how to minimize it and use anything else at the same time, can show desktop but opening a folder or anything puts diablo behind.

I am not sure if demonbuddy works when you minimize, but I think it does (if I remember right it played when I minimized it, almost always keep the window visible so I see if I get stuck though).
 
It's not running if I minimize the D3 screen in window'd mode for some reason hmm any fixes?
 
Those who can run windowed + minimized, two things.

1-Minimize the bot, and leave it for 5. See if the bot has moved. I used to think mine worked minimized as well.
2-what is your current OS and are you 32/64 bit?
 
It is paused as soon as I hit the true minimize button, when I hover with my mouse over the tab I also get the screen of nothing happening.
 
ye, i have some strange problems also - it pause sometimes when it is minimized ;/ That means i can't use DB on few copys ?
 
lets hope that bot's devs will fix all these primary bugs wich doesnt allow us to use bot correctly. lets hope it will be soon :/
 
i am using win7 also - but try to use it in fullscreen windowed mode guys - i think it helped for me
