Does being very active before bot reduce ban chance?

Hi i am a student currently working part time over the summer so i had lots of free time, so played wow 6-8 hours each day, and upwards of 12-14 on weekend (no life since 2009) decided to start botting again since pirox and its on an account that has been somewhat active since vanilla. I was wondering, since I believe blizzard uses some system to flag accounts that are online for absurd amounts of time, that if being very active before starting to bot reduces the chance that you can be flagged?
And another thing, is botting for 8-12 hours then playing on the same account higher risk than just botting for the 8-12 hours and then not logging on same account even though you aren't botting?

Thanks.

Honestly its the luck of the draw, ill bot for 15 hours one day... the next day ill farm stuff then raid then farm again all night, then sometimes i dont log on the game what so ever. just be smart about it, there is plenty of people that do not bot but will play consistently all day, most days. Then there is people that will leave the bot going for 72 hours straight and wonder why they got a ban *shrug*

I'm assuming you also bot on your main account?

I bot on my main account all the time. I also do all kinds of random things such as raids, bgs, old school things, etc. Each character I bot on also has their gear as updated as possible with gems and enchants.

I do as well, but I am new to honorbuddy(not new to botting) and I am botting very little because of risk of ban for my main account.

Ive been botting ~12 hours/day for a year now on all characters on both my accounts. Since SoR came out ive botted around 15 accounts to 85. Gold mine

Usual rule of thumb is if your main account is that precious to you only bot with it when you are in direct supervision and stick with you doing movement and let the bot do the combat ala lazyraider.

Atm I only have one account so yes I bot on my main account all the time. As someone else already stated most my 85's have decent gear all the way up to some sort of LFR gear or actual raid gear. Just recently I botted fishing/cooking all the way up then a couple days later I botted mining/herbing up in a day. I have had this same account for probably since BC or so, I did sell some gold on it a couple years ago (when it was still worth it) It has never received a ban, warning or any type of anything.

Now am I lucky, I could be, But i also don't do the same thing over and over and over again on it and half the time when im botting im useally either here at the computer working, or around the house... so im never to far away.

On a side note I used to bot 5 different accounts and multibox those, I would go Pvp'ing or do heros with them etc, never once a ban or anything on those I just got cheap and didnt want to pay for 6 accounts lol.

You would not believe the risk i'm running, my account is insane, and yet i take the risk because there is a very little chance to get banned if you ask me.
