I was going to create a plugin that will dismount me if idle in a dig site for X seconds, but the only function i am unaware of is that of recognizing if you are in a dig site on the map (the red area)

any help would be much appreciated.

Ive posted a fix in the AB thread.

Mount Name: NAME OF MOUNT Use Mount: CHECK

Find Mount Automatically: UNCHECK
Use Random Mount: UNCHECK

How do i know this works, let the numbers speak for itself. Since I discovered this I've ran AB unattended for 130 hours+++ Not once have i seen the hovering bug. One session AB even ran for 38 hours, in one go.

Not really what i was after dude but thanks. I'm looking to create a plugin, and eventually expand it to do other useful things.

Anyway, anyone who is able to assist me in finding the function i am most appreciative :)

Reflect AB and see what IT uses? I don't believe there is an API call to see if you are in a digsite specifically... yet. The sites themselves are just a set of landing coordinates written into AB (hence the abnormally crazy stuff when encountering a 4.0.6 'new' digsite) and from what I can tell a few kludges to allow the meshes to be read and used to fly by connecting zone waypoints in the same fashion the ground navigation does. This is why AB flies roughly where the roads that enter and exit a zone are (a good example of this is Burning Steppes), when it is entering and exiting a zone, even if it is faster to fly 'straight'.
