Does a gm know it is you, if you are on another character?

I have been wondering if I could bot a character at night, and then another rest of the day.

I'm pretty sure they look at the whole WoW account, not just the character. You probably would be reported by players less if you use two characters instead of one though.

idk. i've been changing chars often ( every 2~3 hours using ARrelog) and just not logigng on for a bit (3~5 hours?)
i know you're supposed to "change" accounts totally but i only have one.
i'd say it's pretty good, at least, you can always say you logged off and your brother was playing the other one. (if it gets caught botting, etc)

If you open a ticket on one toon the GM will talk to you on an alt if you are logged in on an alt when the GM gets to your ticket
