Do you hide your IP while multibotting?

I've only ever botted 1 toon in the past, so I'm wondering if the multi-botting community takes extra precautions while running multiple bots on your system?

I know botting is never safe, but is it really necessary to somehow change my IP or hide the fact that 3+ instances of the game are running from 1 computer?

I have no idea how to hide my IP, or use proxies, etc. (I used proxies for a very short amount of time many years ago to brute-force some Starcraft 1 names but I haven't touched proxies since then).

If you don't know how, don't bother unless you are running like 15+ accounts.

They can't ban you because of the fact that there are multiple wows open on 1 ip because of NAT...

That don't ban exclusively based on IP. Multiple people have said they have only lost some of the accounts that have been botting on the same machine even.
