Blizz can get you if you run the bot and stand still so it does not matter if you use CR or other things only.
If you are "dare" using stuff you should not bot at all.

I was just interested in hearing from ppl, if they actually use this on their main accounts with combat routines only.

Or if they only use it for suicide botting.

I dont have the skills to play myself at really high lvl mythic raiding, and since soap also took several hits now, there's nothing for "us" to use anymore

If 741 people answer "yes I use it this way" does it make anything more "safe" or better for you? Do you base a decision on that?
If you turn on the bot you can get banned, no matter what you use. So the question is "is it ok for me to loose my account".

10 years botting banned 3 times on my main account ( old fishing bot , BG botting , and once in the Bane wave.). so i stopped botting on my main account. i run 30 bots ..2 or 3 i use raidbot for raids and never had any trouble. well after i fixed loot settings.( marked all the loot drops off first boss DE people didnt like that)

Yeah most of us do... just realize that 5 times in the past we've had to start new accounts So be generous, don't get too greedy, etc, since you'll probably lose it sometime. It can be nice to have a second account and form a guild and put gold/etc in that guild, sometimes that'll save it, but sometimes not. In WoD I botted on my main until the ban hammer, then quit until legion, started a new wow account.

It's detected? Based on what? Last wave banned people who were using public gathering profiles for hours and hours.

id say anyone who played in 2015 can tell you that blizz can see honorbuddy running at any time they desire. blizz reported over 500k accounts receiving either permas or 6mos bans.

the key is to stay out of sight, dont bring attention upon yourself, don't brag to your guildies, don't tell anyone you use hb, don't be greedy, don't sell gold, everything in moderation=farming-dungeons-raiding-questing, act like a regular player.

this doesn't keep you safe, but it does lessen the risk of a quick ban. you are still likely to lose your account in another focused attack from blizz but that is the risk of botting.

No, this does not keep you safe if blizz can see you anytime they want.

There is no keeping yourself safe is blizz can ban you whenever they feel like...You either bot or you don't and accept 100% responsibility for you getting yourself banned....HB didn't get you banned, it was your willingness to bot that got you banned.

if you are not totally dumb you have your legit acc that you play on. Do casual raiding or whatever

and then you have your HB acc where you bot however the fuck you want

I bot on 1 account, since...idk...at least 6-7 years. I never got banned! There is some really good advice in this Thread and whoever asked should read carefully and actually admire the feedback provided because its true³.

botting is botting is botting and thus you can be banned banned and be banned! It doesnt even matter how they caught you...

I use combat routines on my main, yes. Mostly since using them is necessary in the way I enjoy playing the game.

I don't care to look at the ui all the time, it takes away from my enjoyment being able to experience the world around me more often than without using a routine.
