Do warnings/suspensions follow a character?

I bot on an account which has received 2 72hr suspensions in past and I'm sure it's only a matter of time before it gets banned.

If I transfer a couple of chars from that account to another account which I don't bot on would that be safe ? Or would blizzard know they'd come from my dodgy account and just ban the lot?

Every toon on my main account is a transfer except for one. I have had a couple accounts that I have transfered toons from get banned and nothing has affected my main so far.

Bliizard would have records of where every character has come from - in case of unauthorised / hacked transfers etc - but to answer your question we can only speculate. If you want any kind of accurate answer then ask Blizzard.

Hmm, not sure how well that would go...."Dear Blizzard, I bot on one of my accounts. Please can i transfer some characters without you banning my main account?" lol

Bans are linked to account not toon, with that said the monkey pulling the strings at blizzard if they were so inclined could check the toons history, but that would be an absolute extreme case and would probably be instigated if the toon was suspected to be on an account sold to other player on another continent. Once again blizzard cbf chasing everyone down, so IMO dw bout it.
