Do I need to upgrade to latest ver 125 to avoid detection but ver 100 still works?

ver 125 seems to get into more stucks than ver 100.

Is it safe to stick to ver 100? Or I have to upgrade to ver 125 to avoid detection?

If you're speaking about safe from warden, it doesn't matter, since the kill-switch is send to all authenticated clients.
