Do I need to buy Legion in order to make effiiciently?

Quite an inexperienced WoW player but I have been botting for a few years now on other games. Just wondering if I need to purchase Legion to sell and make gold efficiently and fast? I currently have Worlords of Draenor. My goal is to level up high and make gold as fast as possible. Would I be able to make the same rate of gold on Draenor as Legion? Sorry for the nooby question im just quite unsure. Thanks in advance!:)
 
selling current content materials is quite profitable at the moment.
farming old content is somewhat profitable but is watched more closely by blizz and you may have to factor in purchasing more bots to make a profit.
the prices of current content materials will be dictated by server size, other suppliers, whether or not you can form relationships with purchasers for long term business.

and ofc, being able to get rid of the gold is key.
 
Ok you seem to know what your talking about haha. I went ahead and purchased Legion anyways i figured it would be better. What should I start doing? Have a level 100 demon hunter but kind of clueless as I havent been on a quite some time. My main goal is to just make money.
 
Farming Daenor items nets me roughly 15K gold a day via 1 account, Farming Legion with one account I can make about 40K while being cautious on selling items. Get to 110, find or make some good profiles and farm away - you arent going to be making much real money though tbh

Considering the Draenor accounts are like 1/6th the price, should be more bang for your buck to just go farming Draenor then...Computing power is cheap as balls anyways...
 
ye - if you have the computer power and keys, you're way better off farming with battlechests profit-wise
