Do I need switch the client to english?

Hi,

i play with the german client. Do I need switch it to english?
 
Shit, so if you have a regional version of the game you won't be able to use DB? :S Since I bought some shittyass copy from some website and from now on have to play with russian client..
 
No ... :(
These keys are regional and they are playable only with russia.

Some of them aren't, no. There are two versions available there, a cheap one that only allows RU language and an expensive one allowing all languages.
 
Are you kidding.. It really needs English? None of the current available competitors does need English language oO

Got 2 RU Keys working perfeclty with the other D3 Bots
 
I already love blizz for making the cheap russians version RU only - this is the icing on the cake really.
 
Should be able to change it in options, it will download around 2gb language pack i believe, but should be easy.
 
No you cant change language witz ru version. Got busted too... Fuckin Blizz...

Then we will need translations of some item names to see how we handle stashing. For today its English only.
 
RU keys are perfect for botting... Language is just wayne .. You can skill from Icon Pics and trading gold to other account is no problem at all.. So why to set up a 55,- EUR EU Key for the bot if you can have a 23? RU key

Just a problem with stashing? For Azmodan Trash on Nightmare I dont need stashing :D
 
in general DB should work on RU clients
but for the rulesitems.xml some translation will needed

He says there are a limited Russian version, and since you can not change it.

Okay, but looking at Tony's reply it seems everything is fine, just need some translations for the Russian peeps, so they can stash, sell, and salvage.
 
Russian translation will be done really soon (items / etc). But i cant say when it will be implemented in bot client.
