Do cc's not work when you are not facing the target????

I leave my gatherbuddy 2 on overnight but i noticed when a mob is attacking him (from behind) he is just stainding there i am using dunktank protection warr cc. How do i configure it so that he spins around?

What he said, sounds like you have movement disabled.
