Ok my first post so I could use some advice. I've been botting my Mage for about 3-4 days now gone up 6 levels. 61 - 67. And I noticed something. I saw the CC for mages for Fire thought it was better. So I re-speced. But I would go to bed wake up 60 deaths and like 100 kills. So it kinda sucked. So I switched to the old one. Respeced for Frost and went to bed woke up with 3 deaths 363 kills and a new level.

Any questions?

Hmmm? What exactly is your question?

You want advise but you figured already that frost was the way to level up. So, what exactly do you want more?

3 Deaths is very good for a leveling char (i guess without proper gear) that doesnt have pets and doesnt heal itself.

363 kills doesnt seem much however... but how long did you actualy sleep? Did you move to northrend already? I assume you are about to.

Get Glyph of Eternal Water, one of the Frost CC lets you use your WE as a pet so long as you have that glyph.

You have not really given us any usable information here.

What frost CC are you runing, what fire CC were you running, what is your exact spec for both fire and frost, what issues did you have when you were fire spec???

Nothing of what you've told us is useful. If you had of said "this is whats wrong iwth fire spec....." - that would have been useful. What do you want us to do with this information?

Fire and arcane specs have less survivability, fire and arcane, reliy on nuking the mob before it gets to you. and that's fine, except when you have adds then you will die. not only that but a lot of cc's arent built for higher levels, and almost none have pvp support. so before you go putting down a spec, you sould try multiple custom classes, because each one is going to behave differently in diffrent situations. some handle adss better then others, some done handle them at all.

Goes both ways, some CCs are built for higher levels, and dont do so well in the lower levels.

exactly, he needs to try more then one CC, spec combo before he starts complaining. and if he doesn't like it then he should make his own.
