Disable use of totems?

So im running a shadowfang keep routine. Im also running Singular combat routine. So when i kill a mob with for example, searing totem i dont get any loot from that mob. Tried to go into class config but i cant find anywhere to disable the use of totems. What do i do? Im missing out on loot as we speak!!
