Hey Guys, I've got caught in the banwave almost a year ago now and I wanted to start using my honorbuddy again. Only this time I was thinking about using another account nog linked to my main battle.net account. Is there any way they can ban my main account if I only bot on the other account? Yes, if you haven't heard there was a disastrous ban wave two days ago, almost everyone using HB got banned for 6 months so now is not a good time to use the bot, I would wait until HB team figures out how Blizzard is detecting us.

Usually they will only ban the accounts that have either botted, or recieved large amounts of gold or items from one of your botted accounts.

If you keep the botted account away from the main account by all means, you should be safe, but I wouldn't count on it. You never know how far Blizzard will go

Was going to do the same but your words made me change idea. At this point I was wondering if it would be better to disinstall HB to be sure not to get banned again, or am I too paranoic ?
