Difference between using Belphegor (or something like that) v/s Trinity

Since the last update, cant make work Giles Trinity... Now the difference of exp and gold are:
Trinity: 25-30 million per hour exp - 500k gold per hour.
Belbephegor: 2-5 million per hour exp - 150k gold per hour.

True story :S
 
Belphegor is shit. Don't even consider using it. 1 hour of playing manually is the same as belohegor playing 12 hours.
 
Yeah, I know... But for some reason, Trinity isn't working with YAR relogger :S
 
Are you using .298? You need the newest trinity to work with .298.
 
go to ur yar settings (open the yar folder, settings/bots.xml), manually change ur bot to trinity (instead of belph) save, then right click properties, click the box that says read only. Your yar will no longer rewrite "belphegor-allinone" as your combat routine. But in order to change ur yar, you have to uncheck the read only, then change the settings.
 
i'm using belph on all my bots... every bot is 80+ plvl and gaining 400-500k/h. Don't know what you are doing but it works for me! On monks and barbs atleast. Never tried others. ( not using newest db )
 
Getting this error when loading GilesPlugin from YAR (also tried all others plugins and nothing)...

lol JUST forced a rename from the YAR setting at the plugin zone and fixed xD
 
I was getting the same error, but it was fixed after downloading the "Experimental" version of YAR.

I don't know what you are talking about man, Belph works better than Giles on DH. Pretty damn good on monk too.

I've found that Belph usually works better on my Monks and Trinity works better on Barbs. I have no idea why but the difference is significant. On my monks (approx 80 para) I get 25-30 mill XP and 400k+ gold with Belph and 15-20 mill XP and <400k gold on Trinity. On my Barbs, however, I get the reverse. 30 mill XP + and 450k gold + on trinity and only 20-25 mill XP and <400k gold on Belph. The Barbs seem to lock up more frequently when I use Belph as well.
 
As a combat routine I don't think Belph is bad at all. The problem is so many other things are tied into Trinity. First off, The looting system is currently much superior in Trinity mostly because it is easier to use. Nesox just introduced a new weight item system but I don't know anyone that is using it. Because frankly no one really wants to come up with rules for it when rules already exists. Until someone takes the time and makes a good pickup/rule system it will remained unused. 2nd thing, For me personally it is the XML tags. Trinity gives me much more options that DB alone does not provide. Random rolls, Useonce, No-nav moveto's, and improved random explorer. It is much easier for me to figure out exactly what a XML tag is supposed to do with Trinity vs DB. With Trinity I just have to open up the .cs file and read the XMLtag info. With DB I have to open up Visual Studio and put together the pieces. As a profile writer I like as many tools as possible so I have no choice but to use Trinity.
 
Can't you just use Belph combat routine but keep Trinity plugin enabled for loot rules and all the other good stuff?
 
Alkajak, when you use Belphegor as combat routine Trinity still deals with every else except combat, so yeah.

i also get a lot more xp/gph with Belphegor for Monks.

what about Wizards? Belphegor or Trinity combat routine?
 
Balphegor is working for me but im loosing 15-25% efficiency compared to Trinity so im still using Trinity. It might depend on a hardware you have and number of clients,or i dunno. Maybe depends on class and connenction aswell but for now id stick with Trinity
