I sold a gg wand for $240 last week, a spear for $160, a nat ring for $160 and all of them were less than that nat ring.

Did you list 200e first listing? I would have at the least started that at 250e ... more than likely could have gotten more.

The AH's dont close until march 18 ... thats still 6 months away and the xpac wont launch until after that .... so yea ... people are not going to sit on hands for 6 months ... thats 1/2 the time the game has even been alive.

p.s. the 8ias hurts it a little.

i actually did post it for 250 to begin with, but mabye no one noticed it - the AH is buggy sometimes. I?ve gotten so used to listing stuff that should go for 250, for like 10 euro or so... Thats why i was so supprised to see a mail from ah, and thats why i feared i had fucked up badly.

If you posted it for 250e and dropped price more than 2-3 times until it sold at 200e then you more than likely got a fair price. Solid items like that I will relist many times high until they sell as 5 seconds to cancel relist big ticket items is much better than selling to cheap.

Its a really shitty item market atm, even worse than it was before ... but there's still some that bring in the money.

the 8ias and sup 40 cd kept it from being godmode ring ... but was still extremely nice .... just 3-4 months ago that thing woulda been over $1k i think.

That should have gone for 250, it is a quadfecta nat which is extremely rare and valuable. Had this dropped in 2012 would be worth like 2k euros+ easy on d2jsp...

Before new year maybe, but i remember it very clear, it was around january-february that prices really went downhill a lot (i remember filtering 6cc nats , wnet down from 25+ to 4.5 euros within a half month, and since then stayed there till this very day lol).

I'd say it is a fair price. You could probably have gotten more out of it, if you'd sell it on forums somewhere and got the perfect situation, where the exact player who wants it is prepared to pay more for it (in gold, that is). I'd do exactly as u did. Post it for 250, then drop 10 euro a day until it sells.

Yes, i remember this as well - because February was my best month in terms of profits (in this year), and from then it was lower and lower each month. Item prices fell down in late February and early March right after info about release of "loot 2.0 patch" was posted on battle.net.
Then the patch release date was postponed until "no sooner than November" (and later it was postponed even further) but the prices haven't fully recovered from that fall. There was this brief rise in August when RoS was announced (probably some botters felt a need to expand their farms, lol), but it's already over.

You are partially right I guess ... jan/feb my bots were making $25 each per day... after the new of the item patch wore off things dropped considerably from market saturation. Was the best and worst patch at the same time.

The subject of the post is a quadfecta 6cc nats ... not a vanilla 6cc nats. Top tier items have stayed extremely high until last month when they acted like dumbasses and put ladders on the ptr build. I Helped sell at $2100 axe 6 weeks ago. I myself have sold things worth over $250 cap in the last 3-4 months much less 8 months.

Things still go for 100-500b even now... its just a small pool of buyers and you have to know how to get to them. You also wont see those items on either AH for more than 2 seconds.

Like I said earlier ... if the ring was 9ias/40+cd it would still be worth loads ... well over cap for sure ... but considering the 8/30 i think anywhere from 200-250e i'd be happy with.
