I've noticed this too, none of the people i used to trade gold for keys with is willing to do so anymore on 1 of my realms, what strikes me as odd is the fact i haven't seen a single one of those dupe sellers in trade for 2 weeks now on that realm.

Im for it that a big amount of gold seller put on a internet side and decide the lowest amount of gold price we are accepting. So we can manage to get more money for gold. like a irc channel or other forum. they are ripping us of with 0,15 .
for me everybody who sells below 0,3 is ruining the market.
0,3 should be for everybody the lowest price!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

How dare these people use dupes(cheats) to lower the cost of gold for rl cash when i only want want to bot to make rl cash...yes that was sarcasm.
Gold didn't get duped. Items did, they always will.

I understand some people make their living from botting but other people make their living from duping. The only difference is the way it's done. I bot to make enough gold to buy GTCs so i can raid with friends and buy shiney things for mine and my wifes chars so makes no difference to me whether it is $0.45/k or $0.65/k. Yes it costs me more and more each month for the GTCs, as it has done since vanilla, but if you can't make at least 150k/mnt using only one bot then your doing something wrong.

You're so full of shit. Sorry, I had to call you out on that. I doubt someone who dupes would do it for someone to publicly speak that they have someone doing it for them. I'm quite sure those that are duping keep it private.

Sorry man but wrong. Just because someone says 'my friend dupes for me' doesn't mean they don't. There are plenty of places to find dupes/hacks/etc. Nothing anyone on these or other forums say will point back to the duper so why would they care? Blizz knows the dupes people use, anyone who thinks they don't is just plain wrong.

the chinese new year is just around the corner = break for most gold sellers = get rid of inventory + stop stocking
perhaps the low prices are attributed to that? Did the same thing happen last year?
imo stock up, wait for them to come back from their well deserved holiday
