Did automatic HB Update get us banned?

The night a patch came out, HB needed to be updated, it seemed an update was ready for us to download before any annoucement. I've also noticed this happening with a few other previous smaller patches.

Can you share some information about the last HB update for the latest small patch?

This banwave was something new and it hit multiple bot programs not just HB. They will never share information about their methods so don't expect an answer.
