After enjoying my 3 blood dk bots i made a couple days ago, I decided to try 3 unholy Dks.
Gnomes
Unoly DK
all on different Low-medium servers
Singular

Cost:
3x Legion= 105€
3x Battlechest=36€
141€

I will level them through questing and maybe a bit through gathering.

They are on the same VM with a dutch VPN.

Had some issues with vm and gfx driver which caused a delay in the start.

@ 6 hours played. bots are level 102-103. I still havent decided on what strategy to use with these. unholy DK seems to hold up pretty well so far.

@18 hours played - Bots are almost level 107. Minor stucks with questing profiles, but otherwise great.
Idk if i should let them run in the hidden foxflower area to level. Guess ill take a look at the prices
They die more often than my blood dks, otherwise theres not much i can say yet. looking forward to comparing them side by side once theyre all 110

Bots are all level 108, more frequent stucks now but still alright. So far I have to say i prefered the blood dks survivability. these bots die 1-2 per hour

When you get to 110 and run a full WQ profile a couple of times in the week. The gear on them should be decent enough not to die

Toons are now level 110 and ranking up starlight.

All bots rank 1 still starlight still.
I regret my choice to go unholy. Blood was so much easier.

The bots cant handle some of my combat intensive profiles at ilvl 770.
Im now running some low combat routes.

I switched to a different flower, mainly because the recent one i used got overly saturated (partially prolly bcus of me endorsing its farming)
The unholy dk bots themselves suck compared to blood, but the class hall order quest for 2nd artifact is not working properly atm, so I dont feel its worth changing.
They make around 10-14k, it was quite an effort to get the herb rank 2 tho. Luckily I found private buyers today, so my profit wont be that bad after all.

I wouldnt call this a "success story" compared to my 3 blood DKs, but it was still a success for me, because I learned from my mistake and still managed to turn a profit (even though it hasnt been worth the effort so far). Excited to see how long these bots will last.

The bots now run fjarnskaggl. Getting around 1 stack per hour so thats around 10000-14000 gold.
Their gear for suramar and highmountain is too bad and those herbs prices are too low atm.

For unholy set in class config to use Death Strike at 90% HP
Icebound at around 60%
Corpse shield at 40%

Talents
Bursting Sores
Epidemic/Pestilent Pustules
Castigator
Sludge Belcher (for synergy with corpse shield it gives your pet more health)
Corpse shield
Infected claws
Soul reaper

Art talents need The Darkest Crusade (increases healing and damage from ench proc) preferably through Runic Tattoos (gives more RP generation = more death strikes)
Also relics and the darkest crusade.

Also change line 125 in singular class specific for unholy

Oh and make it use Apocalypses at less then 7 stacks else it''ll rarely get to cast it, set to like 3-4

I never die on my unholy dk. 810 ilvl suramar farming.

Nothing compares to Blood Dk. Seen my 790 ilvl pull 20 mobs and kill em all, at lvl 830 it can solo elite danger quests even. Danger quests is no problem on any blood lvl 110, no need for gear lol ^^

Blood is obviously better in terms of survival. If your gears sucks I guess you should go blood. But then unholy has a superior DPS both single and AOE. So at ilvl 810+ unholy is superior imo
