I wanted to post this because of how many people are having troubles.
New Diablo 3 Patch?
Follow these steps:
Here is my method.
I currently have Demonbuddy installed on my C: - location is C:\demonBuddy
Patch 1.0.4 came out and DemonBuddy updated. I downloaded and installed it into C:\demonBuddy215
I went to my favourite profiles, downloaded them and downloaded all the correct plugins and rules. (I find this is really great because it ensures I get the most updated plugin scripts.)
I start up DemonBuddy and see if it starts smooth.
For me what happened was my BuddyStats plugin didn't work. So I went into my C:\demonBuddy215 folder and deleted the BuddyStats plugin.
Closed DemonBuddy and restarted it.
No plugin errors.
Enabled all my plugins, adjusted my DemonBuddy settings. Started the All-in-One combat routine, adjusted the combat settings and watch my bot run crash-free.
** NOTE ** Crashes will happen until the individual writers of the DemonBuddy plugins update their scripts.
I find it useful to keep my previous installation of DemonBuddy in case I need to fall back to it. On my computer I have two separate installations of DemonBuddy. I will keep them there until I get this new one working flawlessly.

- Wait for an update from DemonBuddy
- Manually download the new install and install in a completely separate folder
- Manually install your plugins
- Manually install your profiles
- Manually install your rules
