I started D3 a little late, moved over like 8 states.... worst fucking time to be moving, while D3 is being exploited to fuck.

Anyways so I know a guy that has 188mil and says all the good ways have been patch allready.

Was wondering if anyone else with this kind of money in game has any helpful tips or tricks for the people that need some help like me.

So far I've been farming act 4 inferno the garden with pots and angels but I've not been finding shit and I've read a few unofficial posts that lead me to believe it was nerfed.
Also A3 resp chests I've been doing too. None of the godly things I see in the ah ever drop for me though... I don't get how people are getting so rich

so this is what people are doing? gear switch elite farming.. interesting :P I'm still not even geared enough to solo elites in act 1... I need to be able to actually kill them to switch to mf gear :P but all this stupid ass farming im doing by hand is not paying off :/

just use the tp-strike and some kind of snare like the one that dash provides and its ez to kill them as monk
 
I am making ~900k an hour on two toons on Inferno. It can still be done :)

why post this with no explanation? If you want to stroke your epeen then why not help some people out while doing it rather than look like some random faggot on the net bragging about some shit that probably isn't even true? No offense just a pointless post.

or they are in the same position as you. And after ur last post.. i dont think ppl will feel "nice" helping you
 
Get a high Gold Find set and farm Sarkoth in the cellar in act 1, that nets about 200K/hour, also GS the vases in front of SK skeleton event can yield some good results. Otherwise get some gear and 5 stack valor farm siege breaker and replenishment chests in act 3 or farm elite packs that spawn in act 4 spire 2, normally a pack spawns close to portal.
A lot of gold was made early via the spire mini bosses in act 4 but market is pretty flooded with high DPS blue wep's now.

Also farming the valor like you say in act 3, are you doing that in inferno? If so that sucks for me lol I'm barely handling act 1 inferno XD
 
Yes in inferno, at this point you really have to get yourself some gear if you want to make any real money. Otherwise a lot of people are making a tidy sum power levelling people using the black soulstone quest in act 2. if you fill a group up and power level from 1-60 (which only takes about 4-5 hours) you can net 5 to 6 million which isn't to bad but oh god it's mind numbingly boring.

yeah man i hosted these on jsp for a few days but after the patching that's going on right now it won't work anymore. You can't skip acts or something or another like that. Idk I didn't read the patch notes just something my bud said to me earlier. Even if that's not the case though you're right it's boring as hell lol.

I'm thinking about going gold find % on my gear and selling my magic find. Every forum I'm on most of the people are swearing gf to be better it's just a matter of time before people realize it.
Obviously this is all word of mouth and I don't know shit if anyone else knowledgeable wants to touch on the subject.

I've also read in the last hour the best ways to make gold were to merchant on the ah.. well that worked until the bots went up :P can't buy shit for cheap anymore, as soon as it's posted it's gone to a bot.

^ less than three seconds and it's gone, every time...

I stopped even looking at the gear and tried to blind buy when stuff that matched my filter popped up. I gave up after I failed the 20th time in a row.
 
wiz in a4 inferno here to confirm that with loot the way it currently is, it is much more efficient to farm gold than it is to farm items (obviously unless you're lucky)

Some kind of throttling is in place - theres lots of speculation as to how it works but thats for a different topic - and 5 stack boss kills in inferno are dropping mostly lvl 55ish crap gear, or the lowest possible ilvl 60 gear. I've done a bunch of different runs including just farming some champ packs in act 4, and act 1-3 boss farming seems completely pointless. Nothing good drops ever. The most valuable item you'll find is some low level amulet because rings/amulets for some reason are significantly less abundant than everything else so the prices are sky-high. Act 4 aspects and bosses have been dropping absolute garbage, but the champs themselves seem to mostly be dropping appropriate loot. I imagine that's because very few people are able to kill champ packs in act 4 at this time.

TL:DR - gear drops are mostly fucked, gold is - from my personal experience and from what I've read - better to farm than bosses.
