DH Champ Farming....Did u guys succeed?....

like the topic above...just wanna ask...can a DH champ farming? ...and what sorts of equipment and skills needed to that?...anybody have a strong DH set-up for this?.
ive tried with my 150K dps allress 700 DH (with SS, AM, SA) ....quite a failure..and no LOH at all (using SD-Gloom instead) just pure DPS..my concern is the paragon system...how to level up a DH for that?...its kinda waste for DH not having paragon level at all.....if hand played ..for me...DH is the best for diablo runs (elite just melted)..its just so simple....but after this..maybe a farewell to DH?...

im using my monk for now....using DH equipment offcourse..

any ideas?....

Level a barb to 60 in less than 24 hours. Quick searches in these forums will tell you how if you don't know how.
 
what connection is leveling a barb to 24hours?...i did it also with my monk and barb..question is how we do DH champ farm?...oh yea u already mention search the forum....duh?...
 
As in, it doesn't take a long time to level a barb to 60 so why not just sell all your DH gear whilst leveling a barb then buy some equipment for your barb which will solve all your problems...such as stressing yourself out finding a way to farm using a DH.

How do you DH champ farm? Yes...search the forums...duh...if you can't find anything viable then....DUH?

I'll put it this way. To be blunt, the fact you're insisting to farm using a DH instead of a barb is like choosing to walk and swim from US to China. Giving up halfway then collapsing due to exhaustion then paying someone 50,000USD to save you instead of just taking a plane and paying 1000USD.

If you still insist on DH champ farming...then I wish you all the best and if you do find out a way which is more profitable in the long run compared to just rolling a barb then please share it with us. :rolleyes:

bro..as if im not searching the forum enough before puting this thread...as were u..why u asking for barb equip when u can find it easily on the search forum...many have replied on that?...

and for the most i found out its quite hard to champ farm a DH..but just asking here...if anybody got some idea..its a forum...so pls..moveon...?

p/s: as for champ farm ...my monk is doing great..np with that..
 
Not sure if a DH could bot it. Need for the kiting to work properly without getting stuck. Of course the kiting may work now, as the last time I tried was 2 or 3 versions ago, or more.

Can't quite remember, but I think my DHs have about 2000 life on hit. Not at my PC at the mo, so can't look at it right now.

I do have a DH running with 2 Barbs and a Monk. Totally owning everything :)
The DH does die on occasion, but luckily the damage combo of the group usually kills everything quickly. I need to figure out a way to get the party members to deal with the champs before wasting time on the normal mobs (I believe there is a plugin or two, but I want to code it myself). They need to all focus on the same enemy, somehow.

For the group running I am focusing on survivability of the chars, then damage. +GF and +MF are only there by accident. I am no longer looking for those stats on gear. Plus I have high level rubies in the helms - Radient and Perfect Stars... that was a lot of gold spent just before the last patch :) A LOT!

Why does it matter if its on your Monk or your DH?...I said DH as quite frankly it's extremely difficult to read what you type. I'll rephrase it. SELL all the gear on your DH AND MONK. Happy?

I wasn't asking for barb equip. I was stating the prices of champion farming gear has increased recently in my opinion and was hoping for a discussion on it.



Ok then, i'll answer your question since you're being extremely stubborn. Yes it is hard to DH champ farm. But it is doable:

Its expensive .... very much so, the best way to go is Monk or Barb, I would lean towards barb since monk gear tends to overlap with DH gear, making it more expensive "

So, in conclusion...you'll need to set aside 60m, or probably more now, then sit on the AH for 10 mins and look for gear with stats..what stats..I don't know and i'm sure somone else will help you with that.
 
thx for honest and informative reply..so..the point is still a dh is hard to solo champ farming..even with high LOH...thx

ahhh u come again...then ok im happy with my monk no need to sell it..and would i do that if im running successfully with my monk?....im ok act2..but act3 i havent tested it yet....

im also hoping for a discussion eventhough ive read what u link here...its a forum isnt it..

Nah, i've said everything I needed to. I only stated my opinion that if you had a choice between a equipped 60 DH or roll a barb I would choose the latter. I just carried on in an attempt to entertain myself and hopefully everyone else really but i'm bored now. :)...I'm happy that you can farm with your monk and that's the most important thing :D

And I want to know how to spend less than 30M on DH equip which can farm act1/2 without many deaths too...someone tell us! :o

ill add something here..whats concerns me is the paragon level actually...and the efficiency of a DH doing diablo runs..ya i notice in this forum botters go for profit..im also doing that...but sometimes in a while..i like to play by hand...and usually when i do that..ill use my DH..cuz so easy to kill elite..given u have high armor and high resist..which i did..

just imagine a DH with full 300MF and high DPS....just once a while playing by hand will be so rewarding....lol seems like itll never come true i guess
