Device and Ban - your experience

Hi guys,

my old accounts all got banned.

I am running Pokefarmer on 3 accounts right now (since 5 days) and they are not banned.

Running it close to my real location (like 12-14km away), using normal walking speed and never let it run more then 4-5 hours a day.

Now I have a question. Do you have any experience that they ban devices? For example when my Bot accounts are fine and I use one of them and log into my mobile from which the old accounts are banned, will the bot account get banned to?

I will do the test once my bot account hit lvl 25 again. But if you have experience let me know pls. I used Iphone before.

I've got beaten hard with the ban stick
All the accounts (including my kids) have been banned. I have to admit to not playing very carefully and running a bot all night so my own fault.

I have tried new accounts and so far they are in 20+ with no ban.

I am now mindful not to farm too much xp and keep it to 100-150k xp per day. I also stop and have a break for a few hours on one account and bot another. So far it seems ok.

Yesterday I was sent LOADS of Niantic emails telling me my old accounts are banned (something I already knew duh as I couldn't log in).

So far it is simply a case of not botting too hard, logging in on an android emulator set to the same location so I can login to accept medals and level up bonuses rather than letting them stack.

All but 2 of the current active bot accounts are abroad, the other 2 I have been using in my country and observing driving times from my home etc. before starting the bot in another location.

I'll post how the testing goes.

You have to realize and understand, that there is still data send/not send where the devs don't know exactly what it is. In case this is some missing sensor data, it is sure we all will get banned again and again.

I consider botting right now as a "test" and i don't expect any account to be not banned. I think it will take some more weeks till you can start a new account with the expectation to not be banned after 1 week or something.

My thoughts exactly. Playing pokemon for me now is about beating Niantic by not getting caught botting and not getting a high level account with decent pokemon.

All my accounts are test accounts which I am ready to lose. After my sweet lvl 30 main with all the great pokemon was lost now its just testing to work out what is best.

Same for me. They banned my girlfriends and mine account which were partly botted and sniped but main stuff was made by hand and all I want to do now is to beat Niantic.
