Detection - Combat Routines safer than Gold Farming/Leveling bots?

As title states I've only used HB in the time I did play wow for Combat Routines for pvp and dungeons. A lot of bans on here I see are from those using HB for gold farming? So what I would like to ask regardless of how dumb it sounds (pretty sure i know the answer) is Honor Buddy being banned because the client is being detected across all used routines or is it just those using gold farming + leveling rountines? Secondly is my ban avoidance better while only using Combat Routine (while I control the movement).

As we can't be 100% sure how it's detected but the most probable thing is when HB injects itself into the wow client, that is when you start up HB (not the start button on HB, but the actualy program and it injects itself into the WoW client).

I suppose there's a lower chance of getting banned when using just combat routines, yeah. Well, lower is the wrong word, there's a chance you'll get banned less soon, because you might not get as many player reports.
However, there's some community project going on to analyze and report people based on how fast they interrupt and what not. Not sure how well that has been developed.
Bottom line is, at this point, it seems like getting banned is guaranteed, regardless of what you do. It's just a matter of time.

I was banned 2 times on banwave of February and now. Only using HB for CR and only for PvE.

That sounds interesting, where did you hear about that?

I quit afk botting back in may 2015 after the first ban ..I olny used CR with manual movement and was banned twice more for that. Its now at a point I believe they see HB on your computer or attached to the wow process, in other words it doesn't matter WHAT you are doing with the software they will see it and ban you for it in 6 months or whenever it suits thier financial needs.

Its not a matter of IF, its when they will pull the trigger and hit us again.

It's at least attached to the process. More than just finding the program in memory. My main got off safe, botted on the same PC at the same time just before the ban.

who would have thought it, I mean it's not like that's how detecting hacks/bots has worked in every other game ever

I was banned in the December banwave, and at the time all I doing was manually running MC once a week with a CR. Its clear they don't care what you're doing, if you are detected with a bot they will ban you.
