In the design stage of creating "yet another" online service for Honorbuddy. Inspired of the iPad discussion mentioned in the developer forum. And as I'm a iPad owner myself, as well as iPhone. (where i would love to keep track of stats when away from pc)
As fascinated of databases and statistics I've always been, I'm playing around with some ideas for a tool I've been wanting for years. (any given bot I have used) A tool where i can keep track of actions, and statistics. So the intention is a pure statistics tool.
Some of the features I'm thinking of:
Client sending the data to server i already have laying around along with a simple API uploading it through a PHP page with a simple authentication. Data is sent through GET as a webstring, and is tracking all the above features. So if anyone have any clever ideas on a sexier way to pass data along please say so. (I was playing with direct MySQL access however i would never give a open source file containing info to my private MySQL server running several websites.)
Again as mentioned this is in the design stage and nothing is written in stone, which is why i make this post. If noone would like to use a tool like this i totally understand its a lot of "personal" data (wow data that is). Being tracked all at once so i do understand the implications this can have.
However for me botting is purely a hobby, WoW without botting is 100% a waste of time for me. So i don't take my own data too serious.
Anyhow back on track i have a picture of what i have so far, as far as the data its dummy. As this is only the design phase and features.
Attached image is a preview of a phone view of the page. A handheld would for instance have more statistics in the width, where as phones have them vertically.

- Chat. (monitor is only planned)
- General Character statistics.
- Xp tracking. profile vs. xp pr hour. (down to each pulse update)
- Graphs visualize the data as "eyecandy".
- Tracking logs. (gotta check out bandwith if its worth it)
