I have read on several posts about this exact issue. The fix seemed to be based on running the "demonbuddy dependancy installer" or installing MS C++ 2012.
I've tried all of this several times now. I've uninstalled all C++ from my system and installed from microsoft and I get the same issue. I've also tried several fresh installs of demonbuddy in new destinations. I've run out of ideas.

I tried the same with .net framework and It looks to have resolved it. This can be closed.
