Hey! I've been through all the updates the last few days, everything was working perfectly last night and this morning. Now after this started several hours ago I've rebooted. Reset internet. Even done a completely new wipe and install for Demonbuddy but still the same issue.

I launch DB, login screen appears, I click login... it literally doesn't do anything, or respond, or attempt to do anything. (It doesn't even do a "Not Responding" windows message). Regular launch from desktop, launch as administrator from desktop, and going to the .exe in folder both ways still gives the same result.

Any ideas what would cause this?

Now if I manually try to launch the .exe from windows explorer it tells me I have to install c++ update 1. If I launch from the shortcut it loads the "DB login screen" but still does nothing when I try to log in. C++ won't install because it is already installed so I repaired it, that didn't fix it, so I uninstalled it and reinstalled C++ update 1. Uninstalled and reinstalled DB through the .exe program download. And I made sure my firewall and virus scan software was disabled ( I read a post before that avast was causing an issue similar to this but I don't use Avast, did it just to be safeanyway.) And even after all of this, it literally is still doing the same thing from the launcher, and the .exe route from explorer is still telling me I need to install C++ update 1.

upload your log file plz
I would have included one but it wasn't even going far enough to generate a log file. I currently got it working by making a new protected file location to install to. I feel like nortens was messing with something possibly but I haven't found anything yet in the virus scan logs. I'm going to keep digging.
