Demonbuddy is unusable, freezes on start/settings.

Figured I would start a new thread for this problem.

DB freezes when I hit start or settings (and must kill the process to even close it)

Nothing is wrote in the log.

I'm running both D3/DB as admin.

It worked fine until the update after the patch (well, fine as in it 'ran')

I'm having the same problems. Demonbuddy will cause the game to freeze for 30seconds/1 minute. Comes back, connection lost to battle.net , meanwhile other bot on other instance is running perfectly fine at 100FPS. Demonbuddy I get 30.


I'm just wondering why Demonbuddy is so choppy compared to say Immortal, I'm pretty sure that has something to do with the lock ups.

Also my problem is not like the others in this thread.

Once I hit either start or settings, the whole thing freezes (DB), nothing is wrong in D3.

I have the EXACT same problem - the game will freeze for about 10-20 seconds and then the bot will pause or stop working and only a ctr+alt+del will shut down DB - i've tried a fresh install --- i'm willing to try it again if this is working for people --- I'd really like to get back to working that gold grind --- I had it running "ok" yesterday during the day but since then I have run into quite a few problems getting DCd - i never get DCd without it running - anyone else experiencing this same thing?

Bump, have this problem for two days now and still unable to run DB. About to just give up on diablo altogether :/

Same problem bot just freezes and crashes..

I have a AMD CPU 3.8ghz 8120 bulldozer 8core - lots of ram and disk space, I run game perfect on another bot (Hellbuddy) but this one lags and then crashes not 100% sure why. ive reinstalled Demonbuddy 3 times now from scratch and redownloaded new patch each time. also reinstalled dependencies and rebooted but Still same issues.

shadows I have the bot running well now --- i am using the mammon all-in-one profile for my barb now and unstuck version 1.7 and the farix areat core NM gold find i believe its version 1.3? and my bot is running now ... still lots of problems with being choppy and running around like a moron --- but at least i'm at 210k GPH --- I did make 2 nice upgrades to gear and i'm still down from yesterdays 250k gph but it's better than nothing so i'll take it
