Demonbuddy - How to bot guide

So I started botting not too long ago, 3 days and wanted to wright something out to help the people starting off
This will show you how to setup the bot from start to finish (from what I have done)

Getting your computer setup for botting:
1- Install Diablo 3 and patch
2- Install Windows updates
3- Install Visual C++ versions 2010 & 2012
2010 - http://download.microsoft.com/download/C/6/D/C6D0FD4E-9E53-4897-9B91-836EBA2AACD3/vcredist_x86.exe
2012 - http://download.microsoft.com/downl...-4FF2-B699-5E9B7962F9AE/VSU3/vcredist_x86.exe
4- .Net 4.0 Download Microsoft .NET Framework 4 (Web Installer) from Official Microsoft Download Center
5- Install WinRar
6- Start diablo 3 log in, go to video settings change it to window mode

Installing Demonbuddy:
1- Download Demonbuddy (I always use beta)
Beta - http://updates.buddyauth.com/GetNewest?filter=DemonbuddyBETA
Normal - http://updates.buddyauth.com/GetNewestInstaller?filter=Demonbuddy
2- Extract the Beta ( I use my desktop)
3- Shortcut to launch diablo 3 without using battle.net app
Go to D3 install location (C:\Program Files (x86)\Diablo III)
Right click on Diablo III.exe go to send to then desktop
On the desktop short cut, right click properties
In the “Target” Field add –launch ("C:\Program Files (x86)\Diablo III\Diablo III.exe" –launch)

Setting up Demonbuddy:
1- Log into D3 using the special desktop short cut
2- Open Demonbuddy
3- Enter your purchased key
4- Under settings you can change the game settings normal hard torment etc
5- Add a profile and your off to botting land
Profiles - Demonbuddy Profiles
6- Resize the window to show all settings (drag from the corner)
**Note** Profiles have their own instructions of setting them up to work.

New versions/ Patch day:
1- Give time for the developers to get Demonbuddy patched
2- Always better to do a fresh install of Demonbuddy for new releases follow the steps above

Trinity plug-in:
1- Start Demonbuddy
2- Go to “plugins”
3- Check mark Trinity
4- Select config
5- Inside the config section you can change settings for skills item stats etc


Trouble shooting:
- Always a good thing to provide Log files
Log files are inside the Demonbuddy folder under a folder called "Logs"
Example: C:\Users\********\Desktop\DemonbuddyBETA 1.1.1716.355\Logs

Not sure what section to post this if you need to move it please do :)

You beat me to it, so add these also

how to End a Session with BUDDY auth step by step

New Version Comes out & you have problems do a Completely new Install of DB

How to post a LOG and where you LOG files will be when Reporting a error on these forums

Maybe add in, " It prob. is safer to use longer profiles that take 30mins a game instead of COTA runs(2-5mins a game) for a less chance of ban" type of deal.

I think this might be the place to ask newbie question -D

can you guys please add a section to show how to run db with trinity?

also where do i download the empty combat routine for trinity?

Trinity is bundled with Demonbuddy. Just select Trinity when starting the bot.
 
When i try and change the shortcut target location i get this error "the name "-launch" specified in the Target box is not valid. Make sure the path and file name are correct.

any help would be appreciated. would really like to be able to multibox it.

Depends on the location where you installed D3
If its the default location should be like mine

i would also mention where you can choose the difficulty in db settings -> configs (maybe you have to scrool down / resize the window)
i got the feeling many ppl strugle with it.

agent.exe also popup everytime you start diablo without launcher

If your talking about the agent.ext inside of the process tree I think that's fine
When logging into diablo using the shortcut it checks for patches if there is a patch it restarts and launches the battle net app for patch download
I think its normal but if anyone has input that would be amazing

Thx rrrix... Its so easy to start nowadays, the bundled version is old but I was able to upgrade to the latest.
