Demonbuddy has stopped working

I just bought Demon Buddy and I am not able to get it to work. Every time I try and run the application it says Demonbuddy has stopped working. I tried to run the Demonbuddy dependency installer but every time I do it keeps trying to install the Visual C++ which I already have installed. So I hit repair on the install and that didn't work. I also uninstalled the Visual C++ completely and tried installing it through the dependency installer and the same exact thing happened. Just to make sure I was doing everything right I also uninstalled .Net 4.0 and reinstalled it but no luck. Please help me on what my next steps would be. It does not have any help information on the logs.

remove:
- microsoft .net framework 4 client profile
- microsoft .net framework 4 extended
- microsoft .net framework 4.5.1
- microsoft visual c++ 2010 x86 redistributable
- microsoft visual c++ 2012 x86 redistributable


restart your pc,
download the installationwizard from here
run it as administrator.
after the wizard is done, run windows update. And install all updates for .net & c++
restart
