DemonBuddy Crashes every 5min

Hi,

I am new to DB, i used the BAT file to make sure i had all the c++ and framework files required installed. I am able to start up d3 get the bot running, after 5min it crashes my d3. without the bot i have no issues with d3 running.

My log file is attached. i have also tried using the beta version of db that hasnt helped.

I downloaded new version of quest tools and trinity liek you asked, i crashed after 5min again. not sure what profiles from rrrix you wanted me to try? again quite new sorry

sorry didnt realise you wanted an image of the crash. i just tried on the db beta and got the same crash within a minute. log and image attched. ill aslo try normal version to see if the code on the crash image is different. before i ran i checked and it looked like trinity and questtools were up to date.

i updated and tried my normal version of db, my d3 crashed within 10seconds of the game starting up. image and log attached. i did update my plugins and db before starting.

you get that only on the specific profile?
have you ever tried rrrix's profiles and release build as a combo?

all profiles. i usually use the release build but i tried beta because my friend uses it with no issues.

i just ran the bot. and d3 crashed. it lasted about 10minutes which is actually quite good. log attached.

as i suggested above use one of rrrix's profiles and post a log if you still got issues

That is the same problem I had.

It took extensive searching to get it fixed, but the fix is actually very simple.

Tell your windows 7 to download and install all updates. Your .net files are out of date. The code DB is running through the .net framework isn't supported in the older versions.

So steps to fix.
1. Update windows 7 - all files
Profit!

Post on here when it is fixed so other people reading your thread know this worked.

PS. If you can't update W7, you'll need to uninstall DB and every program that DB says you need (IE .net framework) then use the installer tool which gets the latest versions of those programs. If you can update W7, just click the download and install update buttons, do something else while you wait, and when you come back you should have 0 problems.

PPS. Before learning this I tested with several different profiles from different developers, beta and release, most recent and slightly older versions of DB (because I keep backups) None of those things did ANYTHING to help.

hi crtut,

i went into windows update and updated everything available. there wasnt a framework update available. in Febraury it updated to 4.5.1. i went into it and repaired but im still having issues... is it necessary to uninstall 4.5.1? do i need the basic 4.0?
