DemonBuddy Barely Functioning.

So the last 2 seasons the bot has been barely functional to a point most standards would deem acceptable to actually sell as a product.
Not to be insulting, but the bot has constantly been behaving strange, and bugging etc.

With that in mind, i managed to work around most things as best i could.

However, without changing anything from settings etc. Today the bot has just decided it doesnt want to work anymore. Was there a patch?

Using DemonbuddyBETA 1.1.3065.634 - The bot has appeared to have trouble moving, using waypoints to get to tristram, and then repeatedly bugging out opening map and trying to move to tristram. Its almost as if the navmesh is completely screwed up.
Ontop of that, when its not bugging out as mentioned above, its running back and forth towards the rift pylon or the gem npc in tristam between rifts, if it manages to open the next rift (which is often doesnt) in then struggles to actually click the rift and enter.

Now ontop of this, and despite this being most likely an issue with trinity. I've watch my bot running back and forth infront of a load of monsters not even using a primary ability to hit it (im using an invokers crusader with slash as a primary ability) the bot just runs back and forth until the monsters die from thorns but doesnt melee them as intended. I've turned avoidance off etc and it still does it. Completely ignoring slash.



So i have to question...

Do you not think DemonBuddy needs a complete overhaul, to fix all the bugs and make it simple. Aswell as having a better supported combat routine?

There are far too many bugs to justify being able to sell keys to the bot, if i didnt already have a lifetime subscription i wouldnt renew my key licence.



Could we get any feedback on what is being developed on DB and what issues are being investigated / dealt with?
 
I too am curious about what updates are being planned for this bot. I've been using demonbuddy since 2013 and it used to work flawlessly back then. Just recently I got back in to Diablo and started botting again and have came across numerous issues with the bot.
 
I always find it funny when people can't figure out something and claim the product is the problem. It works flawlessly for me and always has.

First off, no one is complaining, but more simply, asking questions as to what updates are planned in the future to get the bot back on track to its old state. Secondly, congrats on the bot working "flawlessly" for you...*snaps*

But funny that you say "flawlessly" because the bot just completed a greater rift as we speak and has been spamming Battle Rage on the Act 1 waypoint non-stop. That sure sounds flawless. Mind you, all of the bots settings are still set to default. Its little things like that. So for you to say "flawlessly" is definitely an understatement my friend.

My comment was in no way meant to bash the buddy bots, but to seek insight in to product roadmaps. As I said, I've been using these bots since 2013 and that was when they worked somewhat "flawlessly." Back when we had better community developed and maintained profiles/plugins.

I find myself having issues aswell. Specifically on tilesets with teleporters. My bot will run back and forth between two spots unless i intervene.

Running a mage character. Once it goes in Archon, it uses Disintegrate-Ray 180-degree into wrong direction. Looks funny, but not at all effective...
Monsters still die via Explosions but this forces me to lower difficulty.

Nothing to figure out, it is the coding of the bot causing issues. When its having difficulty recognising where it is and running back and forth in the middle of town, thats nothing to do with personal settings thats just the bots coding/nav mesh not working correctly.

Still got issue's but also wondering what the current aim of the developers is. Like are they actively working on these things, or just keeping bot updated so that it functions after each patch? As it feels a lot like bugs go without being fixed?
