Demand of New Profiles

Just curious, what's the demand of new profiles like? Or, are members pretty satisfied with what they currently have?

I don't use Gatherbuddy, but I use an alternative that is out there, using the same profiles as gatherbuddy. I have designed a few profiles that to this day I have only used for myself, and they are working fully up to my standards, and in my opinion, have surpassed others that I have used from both here and other places. Mining, herbalism, I have mapped out every zone in Northrend and almost every zone in Outlands, and have made paths that are, in my opinion, some of the best paths for my needs. They won't net as much of a profit as some other profiles, but I have made them with an AFKing state of mind. For the most part they avoid mobs, and they rarely get stuck in water or any other boobie traps the WoW world may offer.

So, that brings me to my first question. What is the demand of newer profiles? I wouldn't mind sharing my profiles, but if there is really no need for them then I won't bother.

Just looking to help out the community, if it actually needs help that is.

I think we were doing good, a bunch of the old profile have been slain by the new versions of honorbuddy, especially some of the ones for mining and the like. It just spams way points now. I gotta figure out how people got all the node locations so I could make my own for honorbuddy lol.

if your a hardcore farmer, your making your own profiles. but as for whats there, i mean almost every zone is covered. theres not much more that can be done without redoing old profiles.

before people post without reading, hes talking about Gatherbuddy not Honorbuddy

There is always need for new profiles. More profiles bring diversity, you won't see 10 people running on the same profiles etc

Many people use honorbuddy with gatherbuddy profiles. Something broke that, and hes just talking about the profile -- not the program. So the answer would be working profiles from gatherbuddy re-implemented to honorbuddy. Which is much more efficient at farming 1-60 mats.

honorbuddy does not work with gatherbuddy profiles.

And it's not even hard to make your own profile. I use gathermate + gathermate database to get all the nodes in an area and then I use Routes to calculate an efficient route that covers all the nodes in that area. When recording a path the only things you have to keep in mind are to make wide corders around buildings and trees so you don't get stuck and blacklist unreachable nodes.
