Some gold companies ask to delete your character after you trade.. does that really make your gold selling account safer or would that just spark a flag
 
It's all speculation, nobody can give you a sure answer.
 
Somebody pin this thread or something, give it a medal or a star. I made a comment and wasn't berated by Tony.

I don't think so because blizzard tracks everything, look at your achievements tab, so they must know what char traded the gold to, and then have logs of the transaction and logs of the char getting deleted. How else would they be able to restore deleted items/chars when you get hacked?

i have seen people talk about hacked accounts on blizz forums and blue posts and they talk about the fact that they can see deleted toons when and where and what items they had. Posts also talking about restoration of hacked items and gm comments to the liking lead me to believe that deleting your toon makes no difference but it is up to you to decide if you want to delete your toon or not. When i sell my gold to my main gold buyer i have to delete my toon also.
 
When you delete your toon after say, deposited gold into a guild bank, on the record it shows up as "unknown deposited x thousand gold". Perhaps that has something to do with it, perhaps not. This has been share your two cents, with Namaze.

Sounds like Pusada. Only one thing to say: DO NOT SELL TO THEM. From my experiences, every single time I sell gold to them, my account got banned right away or only a few hours after that. My guess: they are too famous to Blizzard, so their computers and accounts are under constant surveillance by Blizzard. You trade with them? You die.

Deleting chars does nothing. Why they can restore your chars after being deleted by hacker ? I think because they save everything, of course under different format. For example: not "Legolas" (as you name it), but as "Char1hunter0X34118F5", something like that.
 
this thread should be deleted, it does more harm to us than any good. ask shit like this in private from now on.
