Default Combat has had some heal targeting issues for sometime. I have moved the targeting code from the last release of Pure and implemented it into Default Combat. Testing looks good so far but to consolidate information on these changes I am starting this thread. Alltrueist has been busy and fixing the heal routines which we now have for Seer/Sawbones/CombatMedic.

These should be basic mirrors on the evil side if anyone would like to take on converting those. Companion tank selection fixed as well as f12 tank selection.

Still need as much testing as we can get.

Buddywing is currently broken for healing.

Notable Changes

Healers will attack when they select a mob, otherwise they will heal as normal.
Changed tank detection routine to make it less spammy for targeting.
Healers Rejoice, you can now pull mobs and attack when using a grind profile. This wasn't available in the past with Default Combat.
Rest is fixed to exit in background again, sendkeys no longer works for background
Tank selection is working as it should. If companion is out he will be tank. If no companion and no tank you will become tank. F12 is fully tested and re-written to work correctly. F12 will set tank if a friendly target is selected. To clear the selection just target either a unfriendly or nothing or current f12 tank and hit f12. Bot will then go back to auto Tank selection.
Added scavenging and bio to corpses.
Cryo came up with the code for Stims and XP boosts when under 65.
Dispel is tested but we have very few debuff names in the list. List is found under Helpers/Extensions.cs Public Static Debuff (If anyone has any to add let me know)
Aoe heals are working, they used melee.dist for their distance checks to fire which was .8f and was changed to it's own float value and 1.2f - Thanks Tiniq
Removed health logging as it was causing errors/issues
Thanks to Alltrueist as he has updated quite a few of the routines for healing which were very out of date due to the healing not working for so long.

Testing went well, only issues were due to buddywing versions. Created a pull request on GitHub for all of the changed code.

Ok i just set this up as it is and im running it on my Operative. I deleted some old skills no longer valid on operative
 
This is the default combat you just posted

Still not switching between players in the FP and healing them. Random selecting a party member and spam healing them regardless of health level

Also, I don't know if Medicine has been updated. If you copy/paste the Sawbones routine and then change the names of spells and buffs/debuffs then it should run smoothly.

Also, you have to set tank with F12 :/

Yeah the auto-targeting gets frustrating solo, but it makes the bot SO perfect at getting the right heal target. It's mostly frustrating because there's nothing solo that can kill me, so I'd rather just dps in between heals. If there's no way to fix it, I'd rather leave it as-is because right now it's healing and selecting targets PERFECTLY.
 
Is this in groups? What profile are you using grind/blank combat bot/modified combat bot?
 
im using combat bot in FP's I do not care about the DPS issues as I grind with with DPS spec and my companion as DPS or Tank. No heals are ever needed.
 
I guess im not understand why a tank matters? 90% of the FP's are done with all DPS. Hard Modes get a tank. Everyone in the party needs to be healed regardless of a tank.
 
I set myself as Tank / and tried two different party members as tank as well

im not sure why the bender combat routine is acting weird on the tank set so I deleted benders combat routine

If your testing a test build its best to only have one routine in your routine folder.
Benderbot is a fork from default, thats why its acting up.
Maybe its better to add a check, if we are heal and no tank, healpool is everyone or group. If tank selected then only tank with on the side dps. When we look in raid perspective, the bot knows jack shit who to heal.
So maybe settings for tank only, group only or raid only or in your proximity.

Do keep I mind I'm no healer, but will start tonight with one.
 
The routine should still heal other party members, not just the tank.

We need to set a tank because tanks have different healing rules. For example, tanks should ALWAYS have 2 stacks of slow-release medpac; tanks should always have a force armor on them (even if they're full health).

If you look at the Sawbones routine I posted, there's only one tank check, everything else should heal anyone in the party. The tank check exists solely so we're not healing some DPS at 95% health when the tank needs healing instead.

The reason also to set a tank is I do believe the automatic tank check is bugged and causing issues, now this is a complete rip from Pure so it should work the same Pure does. Set tank was actually missing one line to make it work right and when I popped on an OP it was immediately apparent as the kolto probes weren't sticking to my pet even when I set it.

The way the tank code works it can't change all around while it's set as the very first check is for the TankName string that wasn't getting set.

The object scrape for heal candidates has a inparty custom written check that was in Pure. Bot should only ever heal someone in your party. Not sure how that translates to Raid though. I'll add your log suggestions later tonight most likely so when we cast a heal the log will reflect who and health percentage.

All I can see is that it's casting spells, what happened in the game? Was it not targeting the right people? What should it have been doing that it wasn't?
