Unbelievable!!! Are you saying that the statement is wrong? Pokémon Go is not on a decline?
There are many ways to gauge a product's popularity: volume of sales, number of downloads, number of searches on the net, revenue, physical sales, endorsement, advertisement, survey, interviews, volume of traffic on the server, number of hits on the websites, etc..., etc...
I did not say It is
"THE" only method to use or it is the golden standard for measuring success and popularity, I said it is
"ONE" that you could use simply because I don't have access to any of the other data. I was hoping that one of you could also do your own research to either validate or contradict this hypothesis, instead of focusing on the flaw of the statement.
"By mid-September, daily revenues had fallen from $US16 million per day to $US2 million (excluding the 30 per cent app store fee) and daily downloads had declined from a peak of 27 million to 700,000" -
Views and Subscriptions for the 'Pokemon GO' Subreddit Have Greatly Declined Over the Past Month | TouchArcade Again I don't know their exact business source.
I know that contradicting someone's opinion has been a norm in this forum, because it's attention grabber. And you grabbed my attention. But let's change that norm. How about saying "In addition to the graph that you presented, here are the other sources that everyone could use to gauge the popularity". And if you disagree, you could say "I don't think your statement is correct because this source says the volume of sales and download is going up astronomically as of today". Prove the statement right or wrong. But I can guarantee you, my hypothesis is correct, the game is on the decline. And the statement is absolutely correct, "If you want to see how pokemon's level of popularity is declining
, here's one" And I presented you with a refutable and credible source. The only course of action is to find another source that either support, or contradict this data.
