DB won't install any files (says it does though)

Trinity was missing, so I went to Programs and uninstalled Demonbuddy, then after that, I removed the Demonbuddy folder.

Rebooted my machine.

Now when I run the .exe installer, it says it is installing but it finishes FAST and it says "setup complete" but there are no files copied to the install location. The program shows back up in the Add/Remove Programs and I can "repair" it which it says it does but still no files are copied to my PC.

Any idea what to find/delete to fix this?

it was working fine before the patch but after the patch everything tanked.

I got it working on my laptop just not this PC but the laptop didn't have the same problem as the PC either.
