DB wont detect more than one D3 instance

Had this working before, did a fresh DB install/unzip when I moved from a beta build to an official release build. Since then I cant get DB to detect more than one instance of the game. It connects fine to first instance but then when I run it again I get "Was not able to attach to any running Diablo III process, are you running the bot already?"

Yes, I tried fresh install several times. Yes, I tried running as admin. And yes, I tried reverting back to the beta build. No dice. Not sure where else to look.


please help I upgraded 1-3 keys and now I can't use em.

Yes, the D3 exe is renamed. Same name I was using before when it was working

Sorry Tony, my mistake. The D3 exe is NOT renamed. However, the shortcut to that exe IS renamed.

make sure your setup its like this

copy ur diablo3 folder to somewhere else, change its name , go to ur diablo3 copied folder and go to diablo III.exe, right click and make shortcut, now go to shortcut and right click on it, go to properties and where u have like "D:\lolz\diablo3,exe" -launch (add: -launch at the and) and now u can run multiple diablo3 instances
