Hi All,

Like the title says I just downloaded the Battle.net app that manages your games. However my DB will not attach to Diablo now. How can I get these to work? Thanks.

make sure you are running DB and D3 as admin and also set an exception in your antivirus for Db

See that's the problem, due to the battle.net game manager, I can't run diablo through the regular d3.exe. I'm surprised there weren't any other threads about this.

[EDIT] I tried disabling my AV/FW protections and ran DB as administrator. Still same exact error.

I have no issues with the launcher but if you have you should uninstall it for now
We will support the final product tho

Hmm, so you can launch DB and press "play" through the Battle.net Game Manager and get DB to attach etc??

Update: I deleted Battle.net Game Manager and it still doesn't attach even after "run as administrator" and disabling AV. Still didn't work, I have uploaded the log again.

Are you logged as admin in your machine?

Yes I am the administrator and logged in as such. Really wish I could get this to work. I love this program.

[EDIT] I just tried to run D3 with Windows XP SP3 compatibility, and got a different error. Maybe this will enlighten upon the issue.

[EDIT2] Forgot to mention I deleted B.net Game Manage for the actions above.

Is your D3 exe renamed or something?

also make sure you are running the exe as admin not just diablo 3 launcher

No my D3.exe is not renamed. I have been running the .exe with the -launcher command as the administrator so it would bypass the launcher all together

[EDIT] I have just updated and tried DB on my laptop. For some reason it works flawlessly even with my old profiles/plugins. I have no idea why it won't work with my computer at home. On my laptop I did not run anything as administrator and also I am using the battle.net game manager.

Do you have any other 3rd party programs/tools enabled that have to do with D3?

No there are no other programs running. Just D3.exe and DB.exe.

[EDIT] Got it working. Thanks for the help!
