DB new patch 2.4 create new game with quick join enable

After new patch updating, it seems DB create every new game with quickjoin enabled. I checked diablo profile, quickjoin is disabled on my profile.

Please disable quickjoin on new game.

I haven't been able to reproduce this issue. If I go into settings and check the setting under Social > Quick Join its still disabled.

Even when you have the option disabled in Diablo3, if you join a game where the game creator (or possibly anyone in the game) does have quick join turned on, then YOUR friends or clan or local players will be able to use your quick join to jump into your game.

Its pretty messed up and misleading how that feature is implemented.

Thanks for checking this. Yes, the thing is Social > Quick Join page always show disable on diablo after DB create new game. However, if you use DB to create a new game as a SOLO player, my friends and clan mate still can join your game. Don't want this happen :(

Every time after DB creates a new game, I have to go to Social > Quick Join to enable/disable it.

XZJV, to reproduce this, please try to create a new game with DB, and let your friend check if your game is opened to quick join. Thanks

Thanks, I was able to reproduce it now. I'll escalate the issue to DB.
 
if it can help, the same problem happened time ago, can't remember which DB version...I guess more than 1 year ago.

For now, putting the status to Busy seems to be a good workaround.
 
I was botting while watching some youtubes and when I look over I suddenly have a full party. I have one friend on my list who plays diablo. I'm guessing he has more. I checked and the quick join is disabled, but not while botting. It's a big problem for me.
 
I have random clan members joining my game somehow and my quick join is checked off.
 
Guys does DB work like normal now after the patch or is it like last 2.3 when it took like a month to fix? :o
 
Please fix this. I just had another clan member join my game. Luckily i was here when he joined but if not, its just going to be a matter of time before they know all i bot.
 
I'm having this same problem. This is a major thing since i dont want random people joining me.
 
anyone with a quick fix to this ? would be very much appreciated..
few updates has gone up but no fix were implemented to this.
 
ye i have the same problem and am scared that they detect me when i am not in front of my pc plz fix....
 
wow.. i thought is the D3 client bug.. lol same here.. experienced it too.. luckily was babysitting the bot when some ppl come in.
 
Someone said to put your status on busy when botting. I havn't tried this.
