DB Lockups

Been running fine for ages.
Started freezing today.
did complete fresh install to new dir.
same problem.
opens fine, can do configuration stuff, but it
freezes when you click start

Fixed

The issue seemed to stem from an external usb hd connected via an external
usb hub. I noticed windows explorer was having problem and unable to see the
connected device, and sometimes explorer was crashing. i disconnected the
external drive, windows problems went away, and db is fine now.
im assuming that the system information step was the problem.
