i changed it in adventurer but db keeps open lvl 13

It seems that auto level gems cannot be disabled. Delete adventurer settings and dont enable it again.

make sure you are saving your settings

this is happening to me too! i just installed the newest adventure and it keeps doing this. its been driving me nuts as i have to manually start the GR and then turn the buddy on. if not, it will load a gr13.

is there a way to edit the level in a file?

So I was loading the greater rift profile from another demonbuddy installed location vs. the current location of the one being run. I have like 4 demonbuddy folders floating around my computer and it seemed the new installed version keeps the recent path to the old profiles of a previous installed version active. So make sure you are loading profiles from the correct path.

Also check that you don't have the adventurer setting enabled for auto level gems, this will reduce your greater rift level down to the lowest level required to level up your current selection of gems at 100% chance. Which might be as low as 13 if you have some very low rank gems.
