DB & Diablo & RAM

While I use DB, Diablo shoot's WAY up on my RAM what's up with that?
Checking Norton an Task Manager both say Diablo is using 1,660mb's of memory.
What can I do to fix this?

Turn down all your Graphics, Go Window mode and resize window to the smallest, this should bring it down to 1.2GB ram useage

Nothing else can change it.
