I have that error. I have read on the forums that the game needs to be set to d3d9 in the config.wtf file. I have done that. But everytime the game loads into the world, the game changes d3d9 to d3d11. I was wondering what I should do about this.
I have also just tried setting the config to read only.
I found the problem. I set the parameters in the shortcut to -d3d11.
