Basically Blizzard doesn't care how you make your gold in D3 as long as no 3rd party software is involved.
But for GW2, as long as you make gold "faster than intended" (extremely ambiguous, judgement by NCSoft/ArenaNet), you get ban-hammered.
Also, if you get enough people to mass-report on someone, that someone gets banned even if no cheating, exploits are involved (hence ironically, Guild Wars).
For a country like Korea which makes Virtual Goods Trading illegal, you pretty much can guess that they rule/enforce their games with an iron-fist.
I would suggest that BuddyTeam not develop a bot for Guild Wars 2. The amount of "I'm banned by NCSoft/ArenaNet" threads pile up not because of GG NProtect detection but because of manual review checks and player reports.
I'm not sure whether NCSoft/ArenaNet is happily setting a legal trap for BuddyTeam to walk in.
