This never seems to happen when I am watching it during the day, but whenever I go to sleep and wake up the next morning my D3 client is always frozen and the window is greyed out. I have already looked into the thread that giles posted about possible fixes and I changed all the graphical changes to kill the graphics as well as using the advanced tool on giles trinity. I hand leveled my barb for the first 48 paragon levels and never once had a freezing / crashing issue. I have a cpu useage gauge on my desktop and with the bot running it never even spikes above 15-20% cpu usage, while the ram (while I am using chrome with 4-5 tabs) hovers at 50% RAM usage. The only thing that I haven't done on giles checklist of common problems/fixes is to do a fresh install of D3. Anybody else having this issue past/present and/or fixed it?

same, there is no known fix for it, except downloading DBrelogger, which will restart ur bot + d3 on crash

I am having the same issue, bot freezes and gets the hour glass icon and says not responding. I have reinstalled diablo 2 times and that does not fix it either. I have also changed all my graphical settings. What graphics card are you using, maybe it is the card if we are using the game kind?

Kind of weird to me, because there are people who say that they bot 24/7, but if this is a common issue then it must put a pretty big damper on them to have to keep an eye on their bots all the time or lose money for the hours they are crashed. I know that because of this issue I only average 14-18 hours a day of botting, which is still more than I have time to physically play the game anyways, but that's not the issue at hand.

Does this method actually work? I mean if my client is sitting there frozen does it close the client or just keep trying to start up a new D3? Pretty sure it won't start a new one if the exhisting one is still up and frozen, not to mention I don't know if DB would attach to a new window if the current one is still there.

I have GTX 280, also my bot will run between 30 minutes to a couple hours before it crashes. SO i have to check on it every so often to make sure it hasnt crashed yet. I'm not lucky enough for it to run through the night: ( Also curious about the question above, if it will close out the existing frozen window.

having exactly the same issue. tried to figure it out whole day. without success
gtx 560 ti

i gave it last try with new DB beta release, will see how it goes (tried reinstalling od hdd/sdd, changing graphics and different drivers)

Just to make sure, you guys have looked through giles thread on potential fixes... http://www.thebuddyforum.com/demonb...d3-crashing-common-causes-possible-fixes.html

That would be the first place to start before making a thread, just incase some of you haven't done it and can fix this issue on your own. I made the thread after many hours of effort on my end to fix the issue and with no luck.

edit: I will likely try a fresh install of D3 when the bot needs a break just so I can say that I've done everything in that thread.

Good to know its not just us newbs (most of early posters have joined within the last month) and that some of the veteran botters are having issues as well. Sorry to hear, but it means its not just us newbs.

my d3 actually crashes and closes with an error message, does not just freeze, but i am pretty sure dbrelogger looks for unresponsive in the processes as well, in which case it closes d3 and db, and restarts them both, when d3 CRASHES it closes DB and restarts both

but i am finding it suspicious we all have gtx cards... i know i have the most recent drivers, maybe we need to revert back to an older driver , or mess with some settings in nvidia settings

best thing i could find was enabling vsync in d3 to set a hard fps cap, think that was old tho

when someone post an ati card with same issues ill disregard that suspicion :D

yeh i think that was old fix b4 they added fps sliders, i dunno just throwing stuff out there because i have already posted all my logs, done everything in the diablo3 crashes thread to try and fix it, and nothing , still crashing

luckily relogger saves me, but im still crashing out of games with 5 stacks and wasting time restarting etc

here is my thread for a lil while ago
